“Palestinian civil society organisations considers the holiday trips to apartheid Israel organised by pro-Israeli lobby groups such as the SA Israel Forum, SA Friends of Israel and the racist SA Zionist Federation are as immoral and condemnable as the boycott-busting junkets to Apartheid South Africa in the 1980s.

Similar to the propaganda trips to apartheid South Africa in the past organized by   the   US   South   Africa   Foundation   and   the   UK   Strategy   Network International, lobby-organized delegations to Israel are designed to whitewash its regime of occupation, settler-colonialism and apartheid.

Participation in these holiday junket trips to Israel constitutes crossing the picket line set by the absolute majority of Palestinian civil society in its 2005 call for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) for Palestinian freedom, justice and equality.”
